knitting machine was redesigned to produce 75% of mini Jacquard techniques.
What if one basic machine could be modified to produce most of the jacquard patterns a designer might want, without a major increase in price ?
This was the challenge presented to Pailung by one of the world’s leading sportswear brands and their manufacturer.
In collaboration with Open Innovation Lab, Pailung was able to redesigned an existing knitting machine to hold multiple tracks, enabling it to work with different yarns which could provide designers with the ability to produce over 75% of mini jacquard techniques.
